My S received the big envelope yesterday from Columbia. He submitted only 4 SAT-2 test results where they ask for 5. We are waiting on the big P.

Congratulations!!

btw - I've always assumed that the colleges that want homeschoolers to submit more SAT II scores than other applicants are thinking of homeschoolers without a lot of other external documentation (ie - it wouldn't apply to homeschoolers with a bunch of AP scores or grades from college courses). What do you think?

Thanks!!!!:)
I believe you are right. They need some documentation of their achievements. In my son's case we had rec letters from the publishing industry and a piano teacher. All the schools are flexible and are able to read into the applicant.

Congratulations!! You must be very happy!

Not really.....

We are going nuts!!!!:):):)

After being rejected last year it took all the faith we had to take a gap year and re-apply.

Wow, a successful reapply! That definitely makes the news that much sweeter. What did your son do during the gap year?
