and anyone that retakes something over 750 is utterly ridiculous and needs to stop being obsessed with getting into college and start being a human being as opposed to a generic robot

^whoa chill out.

Just three.

Im doing 5 Subject tests. June 2010- WH(710)Math II(710 i know it was bad)German Reading(800). November 2010- US history, literature, math II again.
Im planning to retake literature as i think i did badly and also chemistry and physics in january.
I hope that is more than enough. Im from mongolia and i rly wanna go to an ivy with a full tuition paid for. I owe my teacher more than 200 dollars for SAT tests now XD

Two. Lit and Math II.
And I’m only taking them once each.

Taking fifty billion tests twenty times each is ridiculous, in my opinion. So is taking the SAT or ACT more than twice. Calm down, people, calm down… there’s SO much more to an application.

lol.
maybe they just care?

Do you think that if you guys have two absolutely gun scores (think 800 or just less than 800) and send a mediocre score for another test, it looks worse than just sending the two great scores? I recently took a language with listening test…

Just three for me. Math Level IIC, French w/o Listening and Physics. Those fulfill requirements (okay French isn’t required :P) and I really don’t want to give more SATs.

I suggest taking 4 because some elite schools (Gtown) still require 3 and you definitely want space to pick and choose your best scores. I have taken 4.

Only took two with no retakes. So I’m hoping 800 on history and 750+ on math2. 10th more days til I find out…

3
Math 2
Bio m
Chem

I am thinking about taking a fourth but it might just be a waste of time

3, currently a senior

Math 2- December or Jan probably December, whenever I feel ready (12th grade) aiming 770-800

Chem- 750 10th grade with out an AP class (Regents Chemistry)
Bio M- 730 9th grade with out an AP class (Regents Biology)

Who is this Christian guy?

can someone link me to his scores if u dotn mind?

also i have taken 1. BIo but im retaking it in december instead of canceling. I am also taking math 2 and possible physics at the same time. I know u need 2 subject tests for most colleges but i need these specific 3 for a research internship i wish to apply to for the summer.

I’ve taken five subject tests so far, and will be taking a sixth (Physics) in December. So far I have a 750 on Literature, a 790 on Math II, and an 800, 800, and 790 on three different language tests (French, Chinese with Listening, and Spanish respectively). I wonder if the language thing might come across as overkill, but I intend to be a linguistics/classics double major, so I’m just hoping for the best…

@fledging: THREE language tests?! Wow… And a prospective linguistics/classics double major? is in awe

How did you find the time to learn so many languages with still studying Math/Physics?

@ fledgling…Wow, Spanish, French, and Chinese? U are truly awesome!

@fledgling - that’s very impressive.

I just two. Biology (780) and US History (800). Would have taken Math II, but looks like its a bit too late for that now that i’ve turned in most of my apps.

Lol guys, it’s really not that impressive! I was raised bilingual (English and Mandarin) since my parents are Chinese, and I lived in Montreal for a year and went to a public elementary school where every class was taught in French, which is how I became fluent. Then Spanish I’ve just been learning since 7th grade and have come into frequent contact with native speakers, and I’ve also been studying German since 9th grade and spent this past summer in Germany in an intensive program. I’m just a huge language freak; that’s all there is to it…

Funnily enough, I was recently offered a bet from a friend with the conditions that I would retake Spanish and get an 800, and then take the SAT II in German in June for the lulz and potentially get an 800 on that as well. I’m still debating as to whether or not I should accept the bet… :p

5: Math II, Chem, USH, Physics, and French.

5:
World History at end of 10th
Math II, Latin, and US History at end of 11th
Physics + any retakes (<740 or so) at start of 12th.

I know the history ones don’t matter, but I love history and am taking the AP classes so I might as well.
