Hi guys..

I am really interested in universities in the States..

By the way, I am a Grade 10 Canadian student and go to Catholic

Highschool in Canada(Ontario)...

Anyway,, My GPA so far is 4.0 (All As) and SAT score is like 2200..

(My school doesn't offer any AP courses..)

However, I haven't been much active in many clubs.. When the spring

comes, I am planning to join the Badminton and golf teams..

The point of my question is that ,according to this website, even those

people who did extremely well in highschool(like getting almost perfect on

the SAT,4.6 GPA, and getting 5 on most of their APs) find a university

really difficult .. Why?? For concrete example, my cousin who got

into Harvard with 1580 SAT, although I thought he would do well in Harvard

too, got like B+ average. What is the difference between those people

who get A+ average in Harvard and those who don't?? I am really concerned

about my post secondary education

because I am not sure which country has the university suitable for me

The Ivy colleges sound really tough

and academic program which they off seems too rigourous for me..

If you were me, would you do your undergraduate story in Canada and do

the graduate study in the States, or would you do both in the States whose

universities have much more international reputation?
