Wow I’m shook at all the people that applied to more than one ivy league! I only applied to Columbia and expecting a solid rejection. I really love Columbia, but I got into Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, and U of Rochester, so I have many options if this doesn’t work out. Good luck everyone! You’re all intelligent beings and any school would be lucky to have you.

Got into a few top LACs so hoping Ivy day with 6 Ivies won’t be so sad.

Applied to all but Yale and UPenn, expecting all rejections. BTW, is anyone else’s grades steadily going downhill? I’m spending all my homework time trolling college confidential and applicant portals lol.

I recommend prepping yourself emotionally and expecting a rejection, then you won’t get impacted if its actually a rejection. Also, open your decisions alone or with people who you truly trust. These people should be able to comfort you if you get bad news. Good luck! Hopefully we all see some acceptances
No way I’m opening anything with people anymore, opened 4 alone, got 4 acceptances. Opened 2 while with friends who I really trust, and got waitlisted and had to pretend it does not impact me at all, making it awkward for everyone as they don’t know what to say as well. Ivy Day I will lock myself up like 3h beforehand and just watch a movie or something, likely die of heart attack about 5-10 minutes to go, if not then the first e-mails will cause my heart to explode. If for a strange reason it doesn’t I will be opening the decisions expecting rejections from each, yet also hoping so so so strongly that 1 out of 8 will change my life for ever.
Son will be in Disney with husband (band director) and daughter and I will be on a flight to Diseny at 5:30 on Ivy Day. I guess I’ll find out when I get off the plane. Waiting on Harvard, Cornell, Brown, and Yale. Been accepted at SUNY Buffalo and RIT with great scholarships. Getting into an Ivy would be icing on the cake.
