ooo and my school doesn't rank people, and i'm kind of afraid of seeming "too asian"

dont be afraid you already do. lol. i would say you look good, but im just an average student. but i do know this, there are absolutley nog uarantees or forulas. the only thing you can do is keep doing your best and pray, because you never know what theses ivies look for

Don't worry dude... The juicy EC chances come up later in high school. Just volunteer, research, and keep up the good grades. And before you know it someday you'll be running this country.

Kepp doing what you are and get involved with things you love. Now go enjoy not really having to worry about college! The time for college worries will be here before you know it, so don't spend time on it now.

........bump

Whoa, you're only a freshman. Don't worry about college yet, go have fun before you HAVE to start worrying about college. At this rate, you'll be burnt-out of the college process by the beginning of your junior year, which is when it SHOULD begin! Go party!!!

seriously, you're a freshman... did that hit you yet? and let's be honest here... schools don't really look into your freshman year, so we have no basis. sure it's important to worry about college, but only a bit. now go do something productive instead of hanging around on cc.

everyone else is right...go have some fun. We can all see that you're obviously smart getting those SAT scores as an 8th or 9th grader or whatever. If you don't burn yourself out you can go anywhere.

It's really next to impossible to give stats evaluations to a freshman. You have to realize that high school rarely goes as planned, and while your stats are already very impressive for a freshman, we have no real way of knowing how you will do in the future. I'd definitely advise staying away from these boards for at least another year. As a freshman, the activities that are going to help you the most in the college admissios process are not ones specifically tailored to college admissions, but the ones that genuinely improve your education so that you can do better in classes and activities later.
