PS: I won’t request financial aid. Does that increase my chance of being accepted?

That art website sounds really, really cool. That counts as leadership because you’re taking initiative. Do you still have the website up? Can you post the URL?
You have a fantastic amount of community service, keep it up!
Keep taking APs that are personally interesting and make sure that they are consistent with the past classes you have been taking. I don’t know what classes your school offers so yeah.
Winning a pageant is DEFINITELY important to add. It proves an engaging and social aspect of the application.

The website was up 'til January , I think. I took it off the internet because I stopped painting, so I had no more things to sell, and well, I was just too lazy to continue.
But I may start the whole “business” again this summer :)

Its totally worth it, ladymadrid, IF you are into art and design. I did the fashion course, and met tons of interesting people who shared my passion. It IS really expesive (if you get the housing) but it was worth the money, and NYC is beautiful :)

PS: I did the program not just to fill my college apps, but to spend an incredible summer.
(And I don’t think it is that relevant, since I’m going to study biology LOL)

Overall, you are an unique and impressive candidate. Many people here on CC have similar stats and ec’s, but your art website makes you special.
I also suggest you look at lower rank schools for safeties
