Ivy League chances? i chance back

Hey guys,

I really aspire on getting in an Ivy League for college or,if not, one of the top schools in the world.

I am an in coming senior with the following stats:

Ethnicity:Asian(Filipino)
Gender:Male
Location:Philippines(yes, i do not live in the US)
GPA(weighted):3.6(It's kinda low, but people say that the curriculum in my school is harder than that of the US high schools)
Batch rank: 100~/500~(i've got some insanely smart people in my batch)
School:Ateneo de Manila High School; private, one of the best(if not the best) high schools
in the Philippines
SATi:Math-720 CR-690 W-690

ECs---
-Golf Varsity Player(dont mean to be boastful but I think im one of the best, if not the best, in the high school)...won a number of local tournaments
-I play A LOT of SOCCER(been varsity once, but i quit for golf)
-Been playing guitar for 5 years, but im not an insane guitarist like those of jimi hendrix, i prefer acoustic
-I've thought public schools in my country(school program which is required)
-Gawad Kalinga:a program in which us students build houses for the poor/needy/less fortunate brothers in the country
-Consistent Honor Student....well, not really, been disqualified twice due to my behavior(im really noisy and talkative) and failed two subjects once..Filipino and Araling Panlipunan, subjects that are only taken up here in the Philippines:---Filipino is our own Language like Chinese-China, Filipino-Philippines while Araling Panlipunan is like social studies and history of our country combined.

I HAVE NOT TAKEN APs SINCE MY COUNTRY DOESNT HAVE THOSE

Colleges in mind:
Brown
Columbia
Stanford
UCB
Harvard/Yale (I know, I laughed at myself too)

PLS TELL ME YOUR OPINIONS. THANKS IN ADVANCED.

If you want me to chance you, give me a link.

Is Brown the most easy to get into from the Ivy League?

^Cornell is easier, actually. Brown had only an 8% acceptance rate this year for Regular Decision.

wow are you kidding? he failed two classes and is an international student.

no chance at any ivy/most us schools.

^I wouldn’t be THAT harsh…

Honestly, if you want to come to college in the US, you need to choose less selective schools. Given your rank and scores, any ivy or peer college is highly unlikely.

I agree I think your chances are low…

^^they seem to agree lol. its very tough for an international student at the ivy level.

Failing 2 classes in the u.s. would delay graduation at most schools. So even if he were american…state schools wouldnt take him

You have higher chances of spontaneously combusting than getting into any of those schools. Going to an Ivy League isn’t as glamorous as most international students think it is. There are a lot of great schools in this country. Aim much lower and you’ll find that you’ll be happier as a bigger fish in a smaller pond. The sooner you snap out of the “ivy-dreamer” phase the more time you’ll have to explore realistic options. Contrarily, if you continue with this mentality, I would stake my life on your ending up very disappointed.
