<p>I'm back to the crap shoot argument. With so many factors: athletes, musicians, institutional needs, URMs, special cases, legacies, etc. there is likely no way to know who will get accepted. I would argue it is possible a person with a 3.0 GPA and a 1250 SAT could get accepted over a 4.0 GPA/1550 SAT applicant, if the situation is right. Broad statistical analysis will demonstrate scores and grades generally DO matter, but it's really on a case-by-case basis.</p>
