I've always taken the most rigorous courses available to me. My poor GPA is a result of my freshman and sophomore year not being taken seriously. Debate and football was where all my time went. I also had narcolepsy that wasn't fixed until now. There is a definite upward trend however, and I'm poised for a 4.0 this semester (2nd -Jr), bc I fixed the narcolepsy. I'm successful at debate and passionate about charities (I'm not just saying that like some people do)

Chances?

Being a minority might help but that is not enough of a hook to get you in based off your current stats. Your SAT needs to go up to around a 2200 for the top tier ivies at least and while an upward trend is nice a 3.3 is pretty miserable. I think it is a long shot. Pick one you like, apply ED if money isn’t a major factor and get your scores up.

Good luck!

ED cornell for the best shot. If you can get the best possible essays out, then ED Brown. Those will be your best shots.

Additionally, pull that GPA up as much as possible. ECs are average. SAT should be pulled up by 2300 points looking at the current status of your application.
