What would you guys say the chances are of a student from UC Davis being accepted into graduate program at the top schools?

I know a girl who went to UC Davis undergrad and got a Master’s in Mathematics from Stanford afterwards.

I guess that’s not Ivy League though.

Definantly able to. It all depends on how hard you try on your overall GPA, work experience, and testing (MCAT or w/e).

The prestige of ones undergrad is a “soft” factor in admission decisions; at least it is for law school. I can’t imagine a schools graduate program to be any different. For instance, a person from CSUN was accepted into Harvard law. Numbers, research, EC, and letters or rec are the most important factors.

Plus, isn’t UC Davis considered a public ivy? I mean, its no hole in the wall.
