You have really impressive statistics. You may want to consider adding a few more leadership positions, if you can, but you seem like a really strong candidate, either way. Applying ED to one of these schools can also really help you.
Cornell-High Match
Yale-Low Reach
Princeton- Medium Reach
They’re all really tough schools to get into, but you definitely have a great chance.
Good luck!
I think you have reason to hope! Frankly your grades are solid, your EC’s seem good. If you apply Early Action to Yale or Princeton you may have an even greater shot at getting in! Are you planning on applying early anywhere? Also, you seem to be more STEM driven, do you plan on applying to an engineering program? Good luck to you!
@frenchyjr I will apply early to Yale probably but I’m not sure yet. And I will be applying with a science or math major but I’m not sure about an engineering program yet
Your chances at Yale or Princeton are better than most students inasmuch as you have a chance. That’s the best you can ask for. They routinely reject thousands of students with similar credentials, but they also accept hundreds. Nobody, with the exception of Malala Youssafzai, and possibly Malia Obama, has a “good” chance of admission to Princeton or Yale. Your chances at Cornell are probably pretty good, although it still qualifies as a moderate reach.
