Ivy league lacrosse -- is coach's admission support all or nothing, or can coaches give "tips" without a "slot"

For men’s lacrosse recruiting in the Ivy League, are there only “slots” – where student either gets one or doesn’t – or is there also a “tip” process that can assist an applicant who does not get a slot? I think the NESCAC has both slots and tips, but not sure about the Ivy League.

No, the Ivy League doesn’t have a formal system involving tips. Coaches either support athletes through admissions or they don’t. There aren’t gradations of support. Coaches are usually pretty good about explaining how this works, but recruits should make sure they understand whether they are receiving support or not.
