gpa: 4.22 weighted (i take many aps and honors courses since freshmen year)
sat: 1940
extra curricular: nhs vp, chs vp, community service club president, dance club president, major member of the mun program
can i get into any ivy? or top 20?
i'm thinking of cornell, nyu, penn, georgetown, uva

Are you a rising junior or senior? What is your unweighted gpa and senior schedule? Have you taken the sat subject tests? Your sat is holding you back. Retake and aim for 2200+.

rising senior! i’m taking the sat again in october so i hope i can my scores up… my senior schedule is full AP + 2 ib classes

Just assume you won’t get in, but apply anyway. That’s the best advice that can be given.

Are you instate for Virginia?

Hey guys I have currently passed +2 and thinking of applying to US universities. I wanted to know about the gpa system of US as we have percentage system here. I want to apply to Ivy league schools mostly and want to know if I qualify for them

My SLC percent is 87.6%
11 - 74.6%
12 - 81%

i recently got my sat subject test scores… math 700 and ush 660
are those okay?

^ Those are fine scores at or slightly above average, not good enough for top 20s.

Your SAT is way low for the Ivy’s and the top twenty. But I would apply anyway to one or two as reaches because (I hope) these schools don’t let standardized tests define us…

gpa: 4.22
sat: 1940 (will retake)
extracurricular: nhs vp, chs vp, community service club president, dance club president, major member of the mun program
sat subjects: i took three (chinese w/listening 800 math 700 and ush 660)

although my sats are not great will my extracurriculars make up for it?

I think its a match. You’re in! There’s nothing that is necessarily detrimental to your application. You’re scores are a little above average for American University applicants and students!

Chance back?
