Hello! I've been reading up on the Ivy League lately and I'd like to know more about the different niche areas of the schools within as well as the qualities they look for in their students.
Please, do feel free to discuss and debate!:)

If you’ve been reading up, maybe you would like to tell us.

Well, what I’ve read is what the schools posted on their websites, but I’d love to know your personal opinions!

I think it’s pretty pointless to discuss such a broad topic without even getting into the schools. First get into whatever school and then make a more specific thread like X vs Y

Yeah this question is way too broad. You may want to go to the Ivy League section and read threads in the different school subforums to get a better idea.

Oh okay…Thank you anyway and I do apologize!

A good book that gives you a glimpse into the culture of each school is Students’ Guide to Colleges - The Definitive Guide to America’s Top 100 Schools, Goldman and Buyers, editors. It was published in 2005, but I wouldn’t consider it out-of-date. It uses “reviews” from actual students.

Thank you !!
