Specifically, how does an ivy league recruit soccer players(I understand process is diff. from other D1 schools)? Also, I live in California where there are also prestigious tournaments, so is there a chance that they will come and scout, or is it better to be on the east coast?
Also does anyone know the academic standard (average gpa, ACT, SAT) for soccer players?

Fill out the recruiting questionnaires of the ivies your interested in. Send an introductory email and attach your transcript (grades, board scores etc.)and video clip to an introductory email to the head coaches. Be sure to greatly express your interest athletically and academically to the particular school. If they are particularly interested in you, than yes no matter where you live they should come, especially if this tournament of yours is huge nationally. Honestly the process is not really different from any other D1 schools, its just that ivies stress more on academics, so make sure you are taking high level courses (APs) and are doing well on them.

You should have a GPA of around 3.8+, 2100+ for HPY, (around 1950+ for the others, depending on your skill level) ACT 29+, ideally 30-31. The better you are at your sport, the more slack you might get with grades/test scores, though not by much. Also, check out the Academic Index, which is what Ivies use to judge athletes

Good luck.
