<p>I have awesome grades and ECs so I've had people say I should apply to some Ivy League schools. I'm from the south and those are so far from home. Why do people seem to like those schools so much, other than the prestigious name? I feel like UNC would be better for me but I just want to make sure I'm not missing any info. It would have to be an off the charts awesome school to get me to go from nc to a state up north</p>
<p>If you’re in really good shape maybe try for Duke? Its a bit closer and basically just as good.</p>
