Ivy league schools?

<p>Should I try for admission into any ivy league school with the following SAT score?</p>

<p>SAT SCORE: 2150 ( 750 CR AND W, 650 M)</p>

<p>GPA :3.8</p>

<p>I am an international students, and am published in India as well as in the United States.(A poetry compilation, an anthology and a novella).
I also run a blog where I post author interviews (I interviewed the authors online). - scribblescrawldoodle.blogspot.in
My intended major would be Creative Writing, possibly with a double major in Psychology.</p>

<p>Any suggestions will be helpful.</p>

<p>What are you looking for in an ivy?</p>

<p>Going off what you just wrote, I’d apply to Cornell ED and cross my fingers… but there’s got to be more to you than your said resume.</p>

<p>ACADEMIC ACHEIVEMENTS
• Consistently scored highest marks in English in high school.<br>
• Received benchmarks (awarded to students scoring 80% marks in
a particular subject) in English and Hindi.<br>
• Came third at school in the International English Olympiad (IEO)<br>
and was awarded a bronze medal for the same. </p>

<p>CREATIVE WRITING
• Published a poetry compilation, 'Sentience’ as an e-book on kindle, which was later published by Sanbun publishers in India.<br>
• Two of my poems were selected for publication in Woman’s Era,<br>
a Delhi press magazine.
• Published in the spring 2014 Young Writer’s anthology published by Verbaleyze
Press.<br>
• Entry selected for publication in ‘The voices project’, which focuses on empowering

<p>COMMUNITY SERVICE
• Volunteered at ‘Tamana’, a special school for differently abled children. Helped them in various activities, taught them and also helped them with their regular school projects and gave talks for them on social topics such as ‘Personal Hygiene’ and ‘Good and Bad Touch’. (2014)
• Worked as a teacher’s aide in the nursery wing of my school. Helped the teachers
Complete projects and helped the children with their schoolwork.</p>

<p>My SAT subject test scores aren’t really good, you know. That’s the aspect I’m most worried about.

<p>I’m looking for a good writing program, mainly, one which focuses on all types of creative writing. </p>

<p>Your scores are way below the threshold for international students. Aim for colleges that offer great CW programs other than elite schools. </p>
