Good chance? Yes. Likely admit? I would say so. Shoe-in? No.

Best of luck.

Oops:

“[Shoo]-in?”

How competitive is your school? Is your 12/500 rank impressive, or do not many students go to top schools?

the kids worry more about fashion and friends than school. mainly a spanish and black school. few(2 or 3) every year go to decent schools such as nyu while the rest go to UNKNOWN SCHOOLS or dont finish high school. The school had a good rep in 05 when A kid got into UPENN but the city dumped a bunch of idiots who can stay away from jail into the school and it went downhill from there.

So in the past has a kid with a similar rank to you gone to a top school? (Obviously your SAT is amazing, but your GPA isn’t outstanding for a not-so-great high school, so I’m just asking.)

" Ivy league shoo in?" trick question; they are a myth
wait, on another thread you said you were a freshmen applying for boarding school…

^uh-oh.

Looks like someone went ■■■■■■■■…

nope @ above post, just want to know if some1 with these stats would get in. My situation will be Quite similar as im in sat prep courses

From the way that you type and what a terrible job you do at constructing sentences, I would be SHOCKED if you made anything over 1900.

Oh and a 3.7 GPA from a bad school is basically a no, unless you have AMAZING essays.

^^here we go again…

Nothing more pointless than chance threads with completely speculated statistics :)

would you? can’t say, can you? sure, it’s a large portion of luck, guarantee? no such thing exists

Predicting an SAT score 3 years in advance is awfully hard.

what’s with the sudden influx of threads that mispell “shoo-in”? are you all the same person?

^Yeah. If you look at topics started by this kid, he’s started pretty much this same topic on over four boards.
