How good do you have to be to get recruited by an Ivy League for track. How much would getting recruited for track could help someone get in. I am a sprinter and my times are pretty good. Do the Ivies have truoble finding sprinters who are able also competative in the applicant pool?

how fast r u

In most places, even with good stats, to be recruited you just need to be the best of the best. Because if you are, then you're grades won't matter as much. Have any other schools tried to recruit you? That would prolly be one of the best signs of going forward. Also, I hear Cornell is very strong in their running game (both track and xc, tho am not positive on it), you could always give it a shot though, sometimes you never know.

yeah i researched cornell's track and field and xc program.....you need to pretty dahm fast......like State Champion or of that caliber. A sub 4.20 mile is recruitable...but anything above is meh....(but hey you could always run alot over the summer)....and there xc team to me seems just as competitive. For 800 meters, a sub 2 minute might me recruitable....above that is .........meh

**also if you see the results for there track meet, a couple of guys have a mile time of 4.35, but they're actually injured and some are walk-ons
good luck though

yea i no its gay. they re all fast as hell.. what do u think a good 100m time is for cornell
