My GPA is low because of my freshman and sophomore years. There is a definite upward progression, and I'll get a 4.0 this semester (2nd Jr yr). I take 3 AP courses right now (US History, Psych, Physics).

Opinions on any Ivy League schools or Stanford? I'm especially interested in Cornell. Thanks

Difficult to impossible
Sorry to say it, I’m a high school senior who has been immersed in the world of college apps, and with Ivy and Stanford level, you won’t get in without a weighted 4.0 or higher as your cume GPA. You’ll get into a really good school, just don’t count on an Ivy

A 3.25 is just too low for top schools unless you have a valid/long term excuse for the grades.

It definitely helps that you’re African American, and you were “smart” + played sports/ did many EC’s. Personally though, I’d say Ivy League is a stretch.
