Hey guys,

I just wanted to ask how likely is it that I get admitted into and Ivy League universities with an SAT score of about 2020-2150 and an IB predicted score of 40/42?

I know I sound ambitious, but I just want to know my chances.
Thanks a lot

Perhaps a small chance at Cornell. Not very like at other Ivies unless you really have something spectacular in your EC.

ECs sometimes dont help. What you really want to blow the AO’s minds with is your essays.

Trust me. Lol.

^ Spectacular EC means some inventions, publications, or for athlete recruitment, not a bunch of regular EC activities, volunteering, or local awards. Those would be more convincing than an excellent essay. At this score level, I don’t think an excellent essay would help much either, but perhaps for 2150+ which is around the 25th percentile. Anyway, just give it a try. Who knows if you just have something they are looking for.
