You don't have a great chance--probably less of a chance than the average applicant--but, then, I think Cornell has the highest acceptance of the Ivies, so it's possible. Good luck.

I think you would be better suited for Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. Here are the stats: SAT Reasoning Verbal: 560 - 680 30% submit
SAT Reasoning Math: 550 - 680 30% submit
ACT Composite: 23 - 29 86% submit

if your ranked number 2 in your class and only have a 1950 on the sat, you must go to an easy school. the guy ranked 9 in my class has a 2300 and the guy ranked number 3 has a 2380.

Thanks for your opinions. I am applying to the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences. Its not that our school is easy by any means, I am just not good at standardized tests. We have a few kids with 2250 and over. It was my reach school so we'll see how it goes.

The ACT is stronger, and in Cornell's range. I think that you have a shot with that great GPA and rank, and your ECs seem to be solid.

Rank does not correlate with test scores. I did poorly on my tests (28 ACT), and did ok after some prep. I got a 32 (33 superscored) and am 18 at my school because it doesn't weight and I took the hardest classes possible (probably would be 2nd if our school ranked). My twin got a 34 with no prep, and is just really good at tests. His rank is in the 50s. Even with rank, he would probably only be top 20 at best.
