I'm looking at the Ivy Scholars program at Yale and the American political philosophy program looks perfect for me. But, I'm also looking at some other programs, especially the Georgetown Summer College, where I could get college credit.

Which seems like it would be more impressive on a college application? The Yale program seems pretty prestigious and I read that it has a 20% acceptance rate. But, I still feel like studying with undergraduate students is kind of another level.

Also, the Yale program is considerably cheaper so that's definitely a plus.

If you’re looking at something that’ll boost your college application, you should look more towards RSI, TASP and the like. If you need a longer list, do reply.

As an Ivy Scholars Alumni, I’ll say DO IT!!! They did revamp the program this year, so I’m not too knowledgable about the specific program you’re interested in, but the Grand Strategy Program was undoubtedly the highlight of my high school career. and idk if it matters but at least 5 people from the program last year were admitted to Yale SCEA, 4 to UPenn, 2 to Columbia, and 3 to Georgetown (I’m missing some other top schools). It’s valuable, and it looks GOOD on a college app. The top schools know about the rigor of the program.

I’d say go with Ivy Scholars. You’re not actually with college students during GSC - just other ambitious hschoolers like yourself. It’s more a way for unis to make more money over the summer based on their name recognition.
