*Ivy/selective school RD Results 2014 Comparison Summary*

Most people applied to multiple Ivies and top schools. It would be interesting to compare RD decision results from these schools in one place. To avoid redundancy, I'm creating this new thread. You may also add the following to your post under the "Official RD Results" by school.

this is a good idea

Could this be moved to the Search and Selection forum?

Can you tell me where the Search and Selection forum is located? I was not able to find it. I agree that would be a better place.

Also can I move or edit the original post, or does it need to be done by some Admin people?

On the homepage, it is the first forum.

Or maybe the College Admissions forum? [College Admissions - College Confidential](Applying to College - College Confidential Forums) That seems to get more action than Search and Selection.

Or we could all just agree to post in this one? That would be much easier for future generations. I wouldn’t know to look in the Seach and Selection forum or the College Admissions forum if I were a 2015er.

^agreed…

The move would require an Admin to handle, so let’s just stay here.

Very disappointed to not at least have been waitlisted at Yale - was my first choice, and it and the Harvard app were nearly identical.
The lesson I take from this is that this process is absolutely unpredictable, if not random.

Comments: I really expected acceptances from cornell, upenn and brown and never in a million years expected to be acepted to harvard. Just shows how crazy and random the whole process is. I wonder if colleges talk to eachother about who they are gonna accept so other colleges back off/or select another qualified student who is more likely to attend.
