:C i was in love with Columbia too and was rejected…I honestly, honestly think that this year was way harder for asian females, judging by a decent-sized group of girls who i know, mostly indian and korean (i’m indian).

plus…there was this one kid who took classes that were like 2-3 years ahead of everyone else at a local-ish SUNY for his whole senior year, because the school thought he was some kind of genius and bent all the rules for him…he got deferred MIT ED, so he screwed over RD ivy admissions for like 5 people inc. me who probably would have otherwise had a chance, judging on past admitted students from my (rural, public) high school.

Hey, congratulations for getting in!

I was just wondering, did you have another hook to make up for your SAT scores? I can’t help but notice that they’re fairly low, which is really encouraging! Did you send in works of art or something?

^I assume you were writing to me.
Yea, I’m a musician. Apparently at a good enough level to be considered a hook.

Does anyone know if there is a thread like this for more recent years? I found a 2015 one but it only has a few responses
