Ivys vs Harvard

Why do I always get blamed?

Probably 'cause.....I'm awesome.

the only thing i hate about the internet
sarcasm is almost impossible to detect

its all good theo ;)

Get off this board, sr. I called Yale years ago. :)

And don't worry, abeautifulmistake, nobody ever gets my sarcasm. Maybe that's why the few friends I have are self-hating emophiles.

i think the reason is that harvard is recognised as being number one by the most people. it may or may not be true, but that is how it is. as a high school junior i suppose i dont care between the two. if i could get into either i would love it.

"Because its ranked number 1 and is the most famous. "
Dont forget Princeton!

we had one girl go to harvard last year from our school and she was f'ing hot...though, her dad is a very generous alum...

^^^Thank you for those words of wisdeom zack.

Ah it was so scary. I visited Yale and saw someone from my district! Well, we have two high schools and she graduated from the one I don't go to. She was wearing sweatpants with the same mascot and school colors and I was like OMG I WANNA BE YOU.

But I don't think any girls have gone to Yale from my school. At least, not in the past three years.

the girls i saw on my visit were not the most attractive of what ive seen of the ivies :(
its a shame because yale is so awesome

lol have you ever seen legally blonde?? ivy babes are hot! of course that's like when people say counter-strike babes are hot! lol

Vivian looked like a witch.

vivian's not that bad, i'd **** her

This is going in a bad direction!

Yale v. Harvard over Selma Blair?!?!

annandale: "this is so unfounded. Isn't Princeton actually top-ranked for undergrad?"

You kids need to apply your logic when reading articles; the P reference is merely a joke, not a "retarded" statement. I personally thought it ended the article with a bit of a bang...

Why is it that no one ever mentions Penn...HYPS..so stanford gets throw in there..but not Penn. Penn's ranked above Standford haha.

Because it's in Philadelphia. Which is right next to Camden. And they both suck.

that, and if you look at all those schools in the acronym, what they all have in common, are acceptance rates that never exceed 15%.....i know it's incredibly shallow, but that's what makes them so attractive....they're the most elite/selective

becuz Penn plays the ranking game like no other...and Stanford is miles ahead of Penn in terms of prestige

A more telling statistic is RD yield rate - where top students go when they have a choice. There are only four elites with an RD yield rate over 50%:

Harvard - 70%

Yale - 57.5%

Stanford - 55.5%

Princeton - 52%
