<p>IMO, ivies are going to be ... mostly out of reach.</p>
<p>agreed to some extent. 1700 is extremely low (for the ivies)...IF you were to increase it by 300 points...which....is probably unlikely, then maybe. and you'd probably have a decent shot at the non HYP Ivies (Upenn, etc).</p>
<p>If the C you got wasn't freshman year, that'll probably look very bad...and yeah, good luck getting that score up 300-500 points</p>

<p>It's possible to increase your SAT scores by more than 200 to 300 points. My friend did it, and I myself had increased more than 100 points on my second trial as well. So good luck!</p>
