The results will be out around April, that’s what they told me. Hopefully we’ll get an answer late March. Good luck everyone!

@optimisticky If you could, could you please walk us down what happened after you were chosen as a Semifinalist? Reading through the FAQ in the JKCF website (which seems a bit outdated), it mentions that they will be asking for:
- A new letter of recommendation from a professor
- An additional letter of recommendation from a mentor
- more financial information

I got a rejection email today. Good luck to everyone else! I am glad I atleast tried. I learned the important thing is to always have something else lined up. Although I did not win, I recieved the Presidential scholarship from Illinois Institute of Technology. I also know that God has something else in store for me. I wish everyone else much success !!

The administrative person from my campus who oversees applicants here contacted kent cooke committee today and they said that we will have a scholarship adviser who will contact us, they will request things and they can also answer any questions we have.

Wow, I just got my semi-finalist notice and I’m excited. Same question as jakobe2020 though how many semi-finalists are there usually?
@Jouuuu there wasn’t a tiered selection process last year, so we weren’t notified until the final decisions were made. some scholars claimed the foundation required additional information from them.
i have heard they received more applications this year and are trying to prevent delays.
where are you all hoping to go? have you applied?
