Hi guys! I think we’re all wondering how many semi-finalists there are out there, and what we’re up against. If you received a semi-finalists email, let us know on this forum! And if you’re really brave, throw out some information about yourself.
I got the semi-finalist email March 8.

I’m also anxious to hear if anyone else has received a follow up email yet?
On the other forum someone called and was told that there were 150 semifinalists. I actually don’t care how many semifinalist there are. At this point, all there is to do is just wait for about two weeks as winners will be announced early April.
Last year, schools had until April 28th to contact winner, and the foundation made official phone calls on April 29th. We were also told that results would be early March, and every time we called they pushed it back a week or two. So hang tight, stop pestering the foundation for results, and focus on those finals!
I believe that the calls that have been coming are for high schoolers. The foundation said they are running behind, and the transfer students won’t know for a few more weeks. Hoping you are right though, @Hope2achieve
