<p>Any applicants to the Jack Kent Cooke Transfer Scholarship? I was nominated at my college for it, but I doubt I will receive it. Interestingly, the foundation lost my scholarship! They asked me to fax the missing material to them as soon as possible. I faxed it to them, but I doubt myself even more now because they lost the financial portion of the application, which does not properly reflect upon my overall financial status.</p>
<p>I'm an applicant as well..I too was nominated by my school. As much as I would LOVE $30,000 a year, I highly doubt I will get it.</p>

<p>Really? That's kind of crazy. The lady in charge with whom I spoke said that they lost a whole box of applications when they were transferring them from one location to another. This is kind of strange because she said that they already evaluated my recommendations and other aspecst of my application. Maybe we are both in the second round! Or, maybe I am being way too optimistic...</p>
<p>I hope it was a "good box" that they lost :) and that we indeed made the second round!</p>

<p>What got me scholarship? You need to be nominated by your school and the JKC Foundatioon picks about 25 people from the pool of more than 900 nationwide...</p>
