Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship-2014

So, I am assuming this year there will be ALOT more applicants considering you don`t need to be recommended by your community college. In saying that, the process will probably be harder and longer to narrow it down to the top 75 students! Is anyone just as nervous as i am?!?

do you know how many students are applying?

The website says they are expecting about 3,000 applications.
I just received an email today and I was selected for phase two.
I wonder how many actually applied and how many moved on to the next round.

I am just as nervous as you! I hope that my classes and other things will keep me busy, so that before I know it April will be here. I don’t know how many made it to phase two, but those 75 out of the 3000 are going to get a life changing opportunity!

Where are you guys trying to transfer to? I’m working on my transfer essays, and I am just as nervous to find out if I get accepted into any of my reach schools.

Are you sure its April? I called and they told me decisions where in late Feb, anyways trying to transfer to USC u?

Anyone see their status change?

My status went from “recommended,” to “recommended and reviewed.”

Hi everyone. I also applied for this scholarship. Has anyone received an email from the foundation asking about whether the you had been accepted to the four-year school yet?
