Only one of these can be true? On the JRF site it states that if you did not receive a notification by COB 15 Jun, you can forward an email to them requesting a notification.

"We received an overwhelming number of applications from highly talented and academically gifted individuals like you. However, we are still making final decisions and would like to confirm that you are still under consideration for a scholarship opportunity. We will notify you in approximately four weeks with a decision."
My guesses are that either the decisions are being made on a regional basis... or that the person is seriously misguided.

I had my interview by the selection committee on May 12th. Yesterday, I received a phone call from the Foundation letting me know that I had been awarded the $6,000, and that I would receive mail confirming it in the next two days. I was told I would have to read up about my duties as a scholar, and that they could not tell me what company was sponsoring me as of yet. Im not a liar, and I am extremely offended that people think I am. I know everyone is anxiously awaiting word from the Foundation, and I wish you all the best of luck. If anyone has anymore questions, Ill be happy to answer them.

Well don't lose hope ya'll for real, everythin' will work out. I didn't receive the e-mail/call but I know soon I will hear. Hey at least ya'll are still being considered, don't lose hope.
