lol...so my score in math is 750...does that qualify for the investment analyst thing ? it says math > 750

FYI it was optional for Goldman. I start in two weeks and never handed mine in even though I scored in the top 1% on my ACT. Lehman and JPMorgan never asked for it either. There IS a box for it on the online application, though, but none of them have a "Required" asterik and it's all computerized so HR isn't going to call you out of the blue for them.

And, no, hermanns. Don't bother.

usually Wall street firms require your SAT or ACT scores for internships. I don't believe they are required for full-time employment. Also, I've noticed that many firms even outside of consulting/ibanking require SAT scores for internships. I think that the reason for that is these firms only wanna take the cream of the crop applicants with as little screening costs as possible. And, evaluating applicants' SAT scores would be a convinient way of screeing the applicants for internships.

May I add to patlees comment that the best way to get a job in ibanking (especially in this market) is through an offer from your summer internship position after your junior year.

Jay1020- What type of internship are you doing at GS? Is it a back office job or an IB training program? The only reason I am asking this, is that I remembered you were a transfer, therefore you haven't finished your junior year - so I was wondering what opportunity they offered you.
