Has anyone found it funny that Jan 1 is the deadline for many colleges, but USPS happens to be closed on that day this year?
<p>yes, i find it very interesting. I guess that means that the deadline is actually december 31. not jan 1.</p>
<p>If you can complete the entire application on-line (including signature), the January 1 date would still be good. Otherwise, you are correct that the real date is December 31 (and note that USPS is closed every year on the 1st, so the effect has been the same at many colleges for years).</p>
