the isosceles triangle one was 100.

oh and then two lines that weren’t drawn parallel were actually parallel (that was the answer) for one of them.

was 5.5 or 5 1/2 an answer to anything??? i remember the answer, but not the question AT ALL.

and something about peanuts and chocolate mix … and raisins.. ?

Does anyone remember a question about two burning candles or salad preferences? Those two really really bothered me.

i remember 5.5 being an answer, but idk to what

for the mix question it was split like 7.5, 7.5, 15, but i dont remember what the question specifically asked for

80/3 is correct.. are 26.6 and 26.7 both acceptable?

also why cant i do a quick post…?

yeah ok so i wasnt just imagining.. hm. you cant do a quickpost b/c you are a new member bco09

the snack mix was 7.5 cuz it asked for chocolate

i didn’t get shaded squares, maple syrup, or knitting, so those are probably all experimental

jenny i didnt get that qeustion

but shaded squares … weird… they were all in different sections, I think? unless my memory sucks… (prob does) .. anybody second it? and i did not get a salad question

wut!!! oatmeal was not enough info!!! no!!! i was so totally gonna put that but i thought they never ever put that as the answer no!!!

it was definitely E not enough info

I don’t know why ETS would use that as answer choice if they NEVER planned on using it as a correct answer. It seems like it would just be an easy one to knock off. We all know that ETS isn’t that kind to us.

does no one remember what exactly the 20 mile and 40 mile question was asking?

it seems like we were all doing it too fast to actually recall

i totally read it to be 20 miles in 10 min then 40 miles in 10 min for an average of 30

sorry lalanickols u dont have to be so harsh this was my first time taking the SAT’s and I really dont know much about anything, I mean you could have just informed me that ETS sometimes puts this as an answer choice and rarely is the answer rather than attacking my clearly overstated statment of “never”. Again so sorry for not know this information, thank you very much for delivering it to me in the harshest form possible.

What? You totally misinterpreted my intended tone. I wasn’t trying to be harsh at all. I wasn’t even directing my post towards you. I was making a general statement.

oh lol it sounded like you were making fun of my overstatement by making it all capitalized(NEVER looks kinda bad)
and the fact that ur general statement was coincidentally after my post kinda looked as if you were attacking me

Guess I shouldn’t capitalize words when I want to emphasize. How do you italicize anyways? I swear I’ve seen others post in italics, but I can never figure it out. There must be a code you have to type or something.

im pretty sure it was like you drive 20 mph for a distance of 10 miles then you drive back at 40 mph at the same distance of 10 miles, the answer ended up being 26.6 (80/3 or 26.7). You get it by solving for the time of each trip then doing 20 miles / (3/4 hour). It would have been funny if this was a physics problem asking for average velocity and the answer was 0 =)

Hmm, I’m thinking I might’ve gotten the experimental math section then, but I don’t recognize some of the questions others posted, like stiching a baby blanket or whatever.

I guess its possible that CB released more than one experimental section in math. I mean, I’ve never heard of such a case, but it sounds reasonable.

Sigh. Well, good luck everyone and fingers crossed 'til Valentine’s Day (day we get our scores)!

Yeah, that 10 mile and total distance of 20 mile and 40 mph thingy was 80/3. Last problem on math section? Most likely hard.

Lalanickols, use brackets for italics. Put an “i” (without quotes
) in brackets to start your italicized letter, word, phrase, or whatever, and then put a backslash and an “i” in brackets to end your italicized portion.
Like so: [ i ] italics [ / i ]
