What do you guys think the curve is going to be? This is my idea:

This is based on recent curves and the difficulty of those tests and the assumption that the blue book test is more generously curved than the recently adminstered ones.

Make comments and try to exact the curve

Where did you find the data for recent curves?

I think a 62 is going to be 800.

^^Different forums online and how people thought the curves would be and how their scores turned out, it only took about an hour, you can google it, there’s a lot of discussion on this on CC too

^Xanedrin: I hope so haha

Can anyone who took the December test and JAN test or even a recent and Jan test tell us difference in difficulty and what they got last time and how many wrong/omits they had? It would really be helpful

On the subject test score report, is the raw score given as well as the scaled score?

^Don’t kno, this is my first subject test

No, it is not given, so u will never know what ur raw score was.

is it difficult to get a 800 if i can get likea 4 on the AP exam?

^Lol I havent taken AP Physics, but maybe someone can help.

I made the dumb, stressful decision of studying basically 65-70% of physics by myself >.<

^I did the same, studying just 100% of physics by myself, but it was not my fault, it was my school system’s.

^I feel ya bro My teacher wasn’t AMAZING

In all fairness, the vast majority of high school physics courses don’t teach much of the material on the Physics subject test. I’m currently enrolled in AP Physics C, and I still had to do quite a bit of self-preparation.

^Very true, i think Physics B is probably the best prep

I’m doing AP Physics B and I’m breezing through the SATII Physics Prep class.

^At least u had a Physics teacher :P. At school, they did not even offer standard physics courses, so I had to start studying physics one month before the SAT. I just hope I can get a 750+.

lol. My school even offers an SAT subject test prep class of your choice (1 per semester usually). I did chem last semester and now I’m doing physics.

so you reckon a 4 range on the AP physics B exam will be an 800? or how much more will i have to work?

@Xanadrin: You’re crazyyyy lol one month of prep when you didnt have a teacher?!

@NspiredOne: You should probably be confident of a 5 to be confident of getting an 800.

I know, lol. But it’s OK. With a score of 750 I will be more than happy :P
