Jan SAT II: accepted or not?

Hi people i need some help here. So i haven't take any subject test, bad decision. However some of the schools i am applying to require SAT II tests so i signed up for the Jan SAT. The problem is that i'm not sure if they accept january sat and if they accept shld i rush report the scores? the scores will be out feb 10 2011
Schools i'm applying to: NYU ,BU,Cornell, UMichigan, UPenn, Chicago, Emory
I've checked with UPenn and Cornell where they say they accept Jan SAT if only they receive in time of viewing my application, this is a really confusing situation, how wld i know when r they reviewing my application?
Any advice? Thanks so much

anyone??anyone?

I doubt rush reporting your scores would make too much difference as to when they’ll arrive at your colleges.

NYU and Mich want all required testing done by Dec but you don’t need SAT IIs for either of them. Mich neither requires nor recommends them but may give some consideration if sent. If you are relying on SAT for NYU then you don’t send SAT IIs. And if you want to rely on SAT IIs and not SAT you have to send three SAT IIs. NYU’s testing requirement is met by any one of four options: SAT or ACT or three SAT IIs or three APs. If you actually want to send Jan SAT II scores to either of them you can because as long as you send an SAT (or ACT) now when you are applying, you will have gotten any required testing in on time and you can always update your file with new scores after your file is complete with all required info. However, understand for Mich that it will be sending out decisions as files are reviewed over next three months and thus decision could be made on you even before you take the Jan test.

UChicago accepts Jan tests but it neither requires nor recommends SAT IIs but may give some consideration to them if sent. Emory recommends SAT IIs and accepts Jan tests for regular admission.

Penn and Cornell (and all ivies) will take the Jan tests. You get them there there on time to be considered if you designate them as a college to automatically receive scores as soon as they are released, such as designating each of them as one of your free sends. That will actually get them there faster than if you wait for scores to come out and then send them rush delivery.

BU really does not say if it takes January tests so you should call and find out. Likely you can send Jan tests but call to clarify.

Thank you so much! it really clarifies everything
