I've already got a SAT score and intend to send to NYU. But I'm not so satisfied with my previous score. So, will it be too late for me to take SAT reasoning test one more time in January? I mean, will nyu recieve the score in January? I am sure the score will arrive before Feb 15th.

The score report (reasoning and subject tests) is due on the 1st-Jan; therefore, your application will be considered incomplete. Looks like NYU does not take the Jan SAT - sorry. Send in all your testing - they will only consider the best :)

No. It won’t be incomplete on Jan 1st. I said I will send my October score. The January one will come later to NYU.

Yes but I don’t think they will consider it.
Columbia University, for example, does consider the Jan sitting; but I’m not sure NYU does.

It never hurts to send it. If you indicate NYU as a rush recipient when you take it, they may get it and include it with your application. I think they may have accepted my last sitting, but in all honesty I can’t remember whether I sat for the December or January exam the last time I took it.
