So my critical reading went up, writing went up a little and math went way down. I am mostly going to apply for UC colleges and they only look at the highest score from all the tests right? ( So my math carries over from my first test)
I am going to retake, but I am not sure I can get such a high score on reading again, but I know I can definitely improve my writing by another 100-150 points.

UC takes the highest score of one sitting. In your case the SAT score will be 2000.

hmm

Do you think that score is good enough to get into UC Berkely, LA, and SD?

I did not take SAT II yet, but I will probably get 770-800 on math and chem

Are you in-state? If you are, your score will not rule you out of any of the UC’s. Your essays and other factors will be important regarding your application. Berkerly and LA are hard to predict. SD on the other hand has a set formula to evaluate all applicants and that was dicussed in the past here at CC. You might do a search or someone else might be able to point to the link. You can get a good idea where you stand after you fill in the information and get a score base on that formula.
