jan SAT. To send or not to send?

For my Jan SAT, I had a 40 points drop in CR, 10 points increase in math, 60 points increase in writing and 2 points improvement in the essay. Should i send my scores? My CR will look really bad ( but i'm intel, if it makes any difference). Here's my previous and jan SAT scores.

Dec SAT--- CR 610 Math 720 Writing 670 Essay 8

Jan SAT--- CR 570 Math 730 Writing 720 essay 10

Any suggestions?

Some schools only look at your top 3 scores and thus wont look at the 570.

Don't sweat it. Send the second set. They'll likely focus on your highest individual scores.

all the sats get sent through collegeboard... so it does not matter which one you would like to send because the collegeboard sends all the sat 1 and 2s you have taken in your life to colleges.... but most colleges the tops ones take the the best score out of total scores... example i know lehigh takes the best one so they would take the 730 math, 720 writing and 610 cr giving you a combined score of 2060.... and p.s take it another time and now FOCUS MAINLY ON CR and you will be SET

BestMiler1, he already sent SAT's before; he's asking whether to send the NEW set of SAT's. If he doesn't, the colleges would have all the SAT's, besides the January ones.

send it! It's good :D

send it. The two 700s look nice next to each other ;)

Send. For sure.

do you guys think adcom will look at 700 and 730 differently?

does 700 look better than 690 even though there's absolutely no difference between the two?

720 looks better than 670

thanks for the replies....

Now if i decide to send my jan SAT scores, do i need to inform the colleges that i'm sending them?

No, just sending them will suffice.
