January 15 deadline: EST or local time?

<p>If I submit my app to some colleges whose deadline is today, is it okay if I send it after the my local time deadline passes, but before the EST deadline?</p>

<p>Usually it is 11:59 PM local time. But check on the school’s website.</p>

<p>By local I mean local time of the place where the school is located…so if in CA, it will 11:59 PST time.</p>

<p>When I say local time, I mean my local time(I’m an int’l), not the time of the school.</p>

<p>It it’s USC it’s explicitly stated on their website 11:59 your time zone.</p>

<p>It depends on the school. For example, University of Chicago had on their website (before Common App) that if it was the due time for anywhere in the world (any local time), anyone in the world could submit it (regardless of location).</p>
