January 2007- Physics

If anyone wants to chat about the test send me an instant message on AIM, MSN, or drop me an email. Lets also try to get a discussion going here.
I ommitted 5 problems. I missed probably 10. Is that around 760?

yeah i think thats about right. i skipped like 15 isntead of trying the ten i wasnt so sure about.

hmmm.wel i answered every question. do any of you rememebr the tricky questions?

I skipped one question... the efficiency of the heat engine problem. I thought that the question was worded in ****ty language. Besides that, it was a joke - full of mechanics and not much waves and optics.

heat efficiency is 1 - e(output)/e(input). I liked the fact that it didnt include much optics cause I didnt study that at all

do any of you remeber the asnwer to the last question on the paper, the one about magnetic field

regarding the heat engine, does anyone remember the answer to that problem? I think i put 40, but i also think i accidentally calculated percent efficiency of a heat engine instead.

the answer to 35 was c

How many do you need to skip and miss to get a perfect score....do you think the curve this time will be decent, generous, horrible?

this is ridiculous ... missing 5 and skipping 10 and still getting a 760
i wished chemistry and biology had similar lenient assessment
