~January 2009 SAT I Results Thread~

Only a few more days until the results are out! Everyone can post whatever they think they got or any other thoughts about the curve or whatnot.. and then on FEBRUARY 12.. your score!

~GOOD LUCK EVERYONE~

that's 9 days from now. think about something else.

CR - 200
M - 200
W - 200

yesss!!!!!

so...i definitely don't remember there being a spot to indicate my race. how strange...

Man, I thought you meant scores were out. I was surprised!

although omgomg i got an e-mail from caltech maybe i did rly well???

lol, i just got one from there too. it was exciting.

I got a Caltech email too. I hope that means I did well on math. I got 74 on the PSAT but its normally my worst section. I got a lot of email from colleges today. I was wondering what was going on.

zoaxanthellea: i got an email from caltech too, not entirely sure if that means anything but i do know that colleges won't get SAT scores until two weeks after we recive them so they haven't seen your scores.

Hmm predicting 2200
math-800
cr-720
writing680

same. well like 2 days ago and then again today.
...could colleges have gotten note of our january scores before we have?

i guess that answers my question :D

Also, the reason everybody is getting a sudden influx of college emails is because collegeboard just released the list of names of people who marked the box on the sat or psat that they wanted to be part of the Student Search Service.

wait, for real, there definitely was no spot for us to indicate our race.
...am i imagining this or something?

Does CollegeBoard sell the names of students or what?

[To Colleges]

I don't think they sell them. It is just a way tell help students find colleges.

I hope I did decently on critical reading. It was such a blur to me after the test.

maybe u guys got it because of the PSATs...

how many mistakes would make 2200 and 2300? For essay score 10 and 8 respectively?

I am predicting a 650 for the Math II

Flare: I also predicted high 600s for the Math II. But the curve is extremely generous! I ended up getting a 780 and I was so surprised. So chances are, you will probably end up getting a better score than what you predict.

really?
because I only answered 41 of the 50 questions and probably got at least like five wrong...
