~January 2009 SAT I Results Thread~

Hi, new member here. I only studied for this stupid SAT I test for one month, and I thought I would do better, but noooooo, the scores turned out ■■■■■■■■:

CR - 750
Math - 710
Writing - 780

Math… I thought I’d get AT LEAST 750 in that. (Damn harsh Math curve). On the other hand, I thought I’d do worse in CR, but, hey, life tends to skew things weirdly.

(Ironic… My target score was 2250 yet I got 2240…)

I’m disappointed.

(Wanted 2300 :()
770 CR (I got 800 on every CB practice test I took.)
720 M (Expected, but still…)
800 W (Consolation prize…)

How do you see your essay score?

I found out, go to summary of sent scores

Ugh. I have to retake.

2110
CR 770 (I think I might just skip this section next time)
M 690
W 650

My essay was only an 8. The College Board always hates my essays and I don’t know why.

I wanted a 2300 desperately, too.

2290
CR: 750
Math: 740
Writing: 800
MC: 80
Essay: 12

I got an 11 on my essay. 80 MC. Why couldn’t I have transferred on of those right questions to CR? cries

M-750
CR-730
W-710

lol i guess that past/future didnt matter lol

Agreed, xs0itg0esx.

lol i went from 660 CR to 800 CR
so happy
im not even a native speaker

I was aiming for 2200… this is unbelievable!!!
CR: 770
M: 790
WR: 780
MC: 80, E: 9
Total: 2340

It takes a hardcore nerd to complain about a 2290 lol… at that point college is more likely to reject you for an unbalanced life than actual score.

lol my scores went from COMPLETELY BALANCED (71-0-700-690) to HUGE RANGE:
800 CR!!!
740 M
670 W ***? completely horrid, i’ve never gotten below a 700 on prac tests :(

well 2210 from 2100 is good, now I just need 90 more!

@questionmark - It’s just that I come from a crappy school (so the only way to get me noticed is my scores), and I have a 36 ACT. It would have been nice to “back up” that score. (And my PSAT was 234…) Wow, now I do sound like a nerd…

And I can’t retake, becuase the SAT is only offered Jan/June here, and I still need two more subject tests…

^^^Q mark… i got a 9 on the essay (i thought i was getting a 11…lol) and 69 MC.

I did terribly, yet I thought I did well.
CR: 740
Math: 680
Writing: 670(66, 9)

I can’t believe how poorly I did. Math section I thought was easy, yet I bombed it, even though it IS my strongest subject at school.
Writing, I thought I had the essay for a 10-12 score, as I filled the two pages and told them everything they needed to know.
And this is rich, I thought I did worst in the CR section…I did best in that.

Uhhh. Gotta retake it now. not now, after I finish school. All that time wasted in January.Argh.

BTW, I got a lower score than I ever got in the blue book.:(

yeah, mine says no essay until feb. 21??

anyways:
CR:71
M: 58 (■■■)
W:77
total: 2060

i should be getting perfects on CR and W. i obviously screwed up math big time. i wish i knew my essay score.

well, 2060 is okay, right? …for first time? maybe? kinda?

CR - 630 (+120)
MA - 660 (+60)
WR - 630 (+60)

Composite: 1920

My 2nd and final sitting. Drastic improvement on my CR. I thought I could score 700+ for MA and WR, I guess I miscalculated the mistakes.

^^^ yes 2060 is solid… go to view summary of sent scores to view your essay now

now it’s there, thanks!

haha, i got a 10 on the essay. this is funny because i thought it might be so off-topic that i was considering cancellation…
