~January 2009 SAT I Results Thread~

mimanchi- Yeah that’s true. I was just hoping for a stellar SAT score to blow them away.

you can find the SAT score if you go to college board tests- SAT- view and send scores

I meant essay score. lol.

1450 for M/R
2020 composite
800 math
650 reading (need to prepare)
570 writing (definitely need to prepare)

well im satisfied with my math lol, i did better than i expected, and this was w/o any prep whatso ever except for like 3 hr night b4. Now i gotta prepare like hell for writing and reading

Arachnotron, it’s almost fated for this to happen. I had 2330 too. Anyway:

First Sitting (December 2008) - 2350
CR - 760
M - 790
W - 800

Second Sitting (January 2008) - 2330
CR - 770 (+10)

W - 760 (-40)

Superscore - 2370
CR - 770
M - 800
W - 800

Haha, wow, srrinath. We both played with fire and got burned (single-sitting wise).

Cr- 800
Math 760
Writing- 790.
Essay 12.
2350

What the heck?? Cr is my worst! Followed by writing. Okey this is weird… but i’m happy ;)

you should be! congrats, math is the easiest to improve. 2390 or possibly 2400 very much in sight for you. the one thing to be wary about is carelessness. that’s what probably got you. the hardest part of a 2400 superscore (for most people) is the CR and since you’ve got that over and done with, be happy!

@Arachnotron: exactly. anyway pm me with your AIM/MSN/YAHOO and we can talk

^ Thanks! yeah, i took the test with strep. My brain went awry in the last two sections… I don’t think i’ll sit through all that again.

critical reading 740 <- went down *** haha
math 800

2330

relieved

M: 740

CR: 640

I really, really hoped to get 2100, so I’m a bit sad. But I’m a junior, it was my first time and I’m French Canadian. I guess future score will be higher if I continue to work!

haha, not bad 2300+ people are in good numbers here today. and yeah, velleity, what you learn from my case is that 2350 is not worth retaking (i retook exactly that score).

I did a little better than I hoped for my first try.

CR: 730
M: 690
W: 710 Essay: 9

2130
