January 2010 Math thread

Yeah, I put 2.01. :)

^ Yeah, I had 80 too.

A had three directions to go

/

</p>

the top two had one each that could go through F

but the bottom had two ways that could go through F

Indeed. Given the placement of this question, it seemed too easy; I reread it about five times before I was convinced.

The directions don’t say that simplification is necesary. As long as the answer fits and represents the correct value, I think it’s acceptable.

This test will deff have a harsh curve for the math. I took the nov test which had

-1=760

and I thought this was a lot easier than Nov.

Silver you aren’t on the CR thread so I’ll post this here (sorry for being off-topic).

For the dad/son passage was it disloyal or irrational?

Yeah, it’s somewhat difficult to jump back and forth among such active topics.

I put “disloyal.” The narrator went on about his patriotism afterward.

Ugh…I should have omitted that one. I’m looking at -4 raw instead of -3 raw just because I had to guess on that one. Combined with my -1 math, I’m f’ed.

Does anyone remember what the question was for the answer “8 in both groups” ?
Was it the question with 12 in one group, 15 in the other, 16 in both groups?

I put 2.6 :)

i took the dec test and for 2 student respone wrong(counts as 2 omits) i got a 770.

um for the 6x+3=a or whatever it was question.
i put a/6-3 not a/6. can anyone explain that one?

and does anyone remember the quadrilateral, had 3 lines that were 15, and you had to like find perimeter? i didn’t see that in the thread

that was 135, (129) + (39)

11 were in both. The total group counts were 12 and 15.

do we know which was experimental?!?!?!?!!?

I feel kind of silly asking, but does SAT math usually have so much basic algebra?

please help me out, what would 4 wrong and 2 omits be ?
thanks so much

Anyone get the question with the something with yards and feet.

^ Yep, the answer was (9y)/4.

@trackkid93. There is only ONE experimental section.
