January 2010 SAT Score Prediction

Heres mine:

If the curve is better than expected:
CR-780
M-790
W-800

If the curve is normal:
CR-770
M-780
W-800

Please, please be better than expected curve... (Or CC being wrong one 1 controversial CR question will be fine as well lol)

CR: 780-800
M: 750-800 [I have no idea…depends on the curve and whether or not I made silly mistakes]
W: 740-770

I really have no idea what the curve will be like, but I’d classify the Math section as “Easy”, the Writing section as “Hard”, and the CR section as “Medium”.

As for my personal scores, I’m predicting 800 M + ~700 CR + ~750 W = ~2250, which was my goal anyways.

I’m happy :)

Critical Reading: Not sure yet; haven’t looked at the thread. I thought the vocabulary was extremely easy, but I may have missed a few passage questions. I might have got them all, though. Hoping for 800.

Math: Looking at 800.

Writing: Not sure. I thought my essay was a solid 10 (higher if I’m lucky).

I’m looking at

710-740 CR

750-770 M

800 W

I feel like a FAILURE and ■■■■■■.

^aww, don’t. you’ll never know until you actually get your scores.
Last May I predicted 670 for CR and got 740.

CR 760-800
M 800?
W …700 or lower

CR: 800
M: 800
W: 770 ish.

If I’m lucky :|

If I’m lucky:
CR- 750
M- 800
W- 800

If I’m unlucky:
CR- 720
M- 780
W- 760

2400.

Any lower, and I made a bubbling error. : </p>

Math: 800 (was able to check all answers)
CR: 720-750 (depending on luck/curve)
Writing: 710-740 (checked answers and got all MC right, did badly on essay)

realistically:
CR: 750ish i hope
math: 740ish? damn… i wanted an 800
writing: 700-800 haha i honestly don’t know about this

so looks like anywhere from 2190-2290. we’ll see though :/

barring any bubbling error.

Math - 790-750 (-1).
CR - 790-800 (-1) If the curve works my way.
Writing-750-800(depends on essay, -2).

CR: 670
Math: 690 ■■■ I was overwhelmed by the section I’m best at :frowning: ( I really need a 770+ on next try considering the fact that I plan to ED to Columbia University (SEAS)
Writing: 760

Took it for the first time as a Junior.

Retaking in March and will retake it in May if necessary, etc.

math questions that were of some difficulty: 8 students, a/6, f(0) + f(a)=f(a), 1/9, 60 degrees of the equilateral triangle in the cube, 42 lowest possible perimeter, 49 area of shaded regions of squares, if any of those r wrong please let me know and any other questions that u guys thought were hard?

-1 is always 800.

I’m going to shoot myself for these predictions when the real scores come out, I’m sure, but for now I predict:

CR - 770-ish…although, I already had an 800 from the June testing…so…I s’ppose I could care less.

M - 760 - 780…I don’t think I missed any…but I tend to miss 1 every test…so…yeah. Do you think this is even possible, though? I made a 700 on the June testing. However, I’ve since spent about (no, literally…this is crazy for me, b/c I don’t usually study, but I was geniunely PO-ed) 70 hours preparing for the math section.

Wr - 750 - 780…didn’t really look at this (well, compared to math), but I’m almost sure I didn’t miss any MC, and I think I’ll make a 9-10 on the essay.

Basically, I’m hoping for a 2360 superscore…but I’m predicting a worst-case scenario of 2320 or so. Idk…sort of worried, just because I doubt it’ll be a good idea for me to re-take the SAT if I score 2300+…it might look obsessive.

Math – -2 (stupid mistakes…), 760?

CR – -3 or 4, 750?

Writing – One multiple choice, and an incomplete essay. I don’t even want to think about this…

Can someone explain how score choice works?

CR: 770
M: 800
W: Don’t know, but got 800 last time.

So 2370 superscore, which would be epic.

W: 800
CR: 1 wrong, 1 omit, so about 780? can anyone attest to this?
M: 2 wrong, UGH. so 760?
