Did you think the test was harder or easier than usual? For me personally, I thought it was harder. I'm international.

How many can I miss to get at least 700? What about omit?

How many can I miss to get at least 700? What about omit?

Well, I’ve never missed anything on math before, but I’d say this was by far the easiest math section on an SAT I’ve taken yet.
Curve generally is the same-
-0 :800
-1: 780
-2: 750, so on and so on.
I’d say -4ish is…700?

^I don’t mean the SAT Reasoning. I mean the SAT Subject Test - Math II :)

OH. I didn’t see the MATH II, sorry.
-4 is always cutoff for 800.
The first time I took it, I got -4, omit 1. 790, bah.
I took it again though. ^__^

I don’t know how poorly you have to do to get a 700 though :/

I’ve heard it’s usually -6 to -8 for a 800 on Math II, but I don’t know about 700+, either.

Anyone? Please link something here.

Well if you’re international, the curve might be different. Then again, TBH international students are way smarter than we.
Over here it’s always been -4, so idk.

Anyone have any idea of what the curve’s like for Jan - Math II?

If you get below a 700 on the Math II, you should just give up lol.

I don’t know if I did get below 700, though. How many can I get wrong/omit to get 700 or above? Someone PLEASE answer the question.

bumppity bump

if you go around 13 wrong, then raw score makes upto 33 34 which is generally equal to 700 or 710.

I see. That’s reasonable, I think. Any other opinions?

bump bumpppp

I seriously doubt you got below a 700 on the Math2.

): I probably did. I skipped a lot of questions-a combination of “I don’t understand. Moving on.” and “5min left?!”. I also got a few questions wrong. Still, I’m hoping for at least a 700. I can’t find a reliable source for curves. The one in the blue book seems outdated and SparkNotes’ curve seems that way, too.

I’m going to wait until scores come out in early Feb. before sending them out. I have other low scores from previous days I could use, in case I absolutely BOMBED this one ):

So… back to my original question: how many can I get wrong/omit to get 700 or more?

According to Bluebook:

-15 = 700

That is 12 wrong.

I think that is the best anyone can give you. =(

Thank you. I thought this test was hard so I hope the curve is really generous ):
