adolf hitler/rex ryan

lol @ rex ryan
Hey it worked

lol… he’s a very practical individual
was able to site how he works with what he’s got, in a more sophisticated way than would be expected discussing him

something about learning - topic

I pontificated about George W. Bush

i figured most markers would disdain him and thus talked about an idiotic bill he passed that put an interminable hiatus on humanity.

john donne quote - no man is an island… yeee

Blabbed about the late 19th century labor unions I learned about in APUSH the week before. (with some made-up stuff to beef it up…), then kind of embellished the truth about the American and French revolutions…

Communist China, Brave New World, and personal experience. Though I definitely used heavy BS on Brave New World (I called Lenina Crowe the main character, lol).

christopher columbus and martin luther king jr.

I’m really hoping I get 10 or higher on essay and they do a really nice curve on the critical reading section. :(

Helen Keller, Economic Cost Benefit Analysis of learning by oneself vs. learning from others, Socrates, Plato, Aristotle references.

…

I saw some ppl with different essays

I just wrote about one topic, a movie, going into detail about how the main character defied the traits presented in the essay. Is it bad I did not use a variety of examples? It was well written and, I think, answered the question well. Do you think I will get a lower score because I did not give more examples?

The Last Lecture, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates.

I used Bill Gates, Scarlet Letter, and Huck Finn

I talked about Barack Obama= health care/dadt

^
Better hope your reader is not someone who disagrees with your positions on those issues

My thesis focused exclusively on dystopian literature…I hope that’s okay. I used Brave New World and The Handmaid’s Tale, both of which I am critically analyzing in Lit. Kudos if you used either of these
Although I rushed through The Handmaid’s Tale. Hopefully my argument was still clear there.

Machiavelli, Mao Zedong, and The Hunger Games.

Barack Obama and Mao Zedong. I had four lines left and didn’t have time for a conclusion. Yikes…

personal experience BS + atticus finch + abe lincoln + varied sentence structure + occasional fancy vocab + filling up the whole 2 pages = hopefully a good score for me.

@garfield LOL hope so. I talked about my personal legislation experience as well with drinking water in my area so maybe that might helped. I tried to keep it as non partisan as possible.
