January 2013 SAT I CR (Japanese Rice, and others)

The writing was experimental right?
For math what did people get for the intersection between sphere and plane?

what was the purpose of comparing the sharks and the other animal to seahorses? i said that theyre subtle and affecting

No I only had 2 writing, I put more than 4 for intersection

Same for subtle and affecting
I had 3 writing

the plane and sphere one i put 2

Yeah, the plane and sphere one is two I think.

^
I put “more than four” but now that I think about it I think the correct answer was two. I think they wanted radii perpendicular to the plane itself and I thought they meant the lines that marked the edge of the plane.

ugh now I’m doubting myself :x

I should’ve omitted the plane question… Had no idea what it was

for the architecture one, one question was like what was the purpose of saying something like to us are false allusions? i was down to open to interpretation or self determined

^
I had open to interpretation as well.

Planes don’t really have edges, so it’s really an infinite plane cutting through the sphere. So the perpendicular diameter (2 radii) is a line drawn down through the top of the sphere. I can’t believe I didn’t see that.

So I misquoted somebody in my essay.
It’s not anything particularly famous (I put Thoreau said it but it was actually Emerson) so I don’t know if they’ll notice but if they did could they take points off?

Intersecting plane and sphere-- I put two radii.

Any idea on the one with the rhombus inscribed in two circles asking you to find the length of the shaded arc? I chose 16pi, but I couldnt solve it to check.

Anyone get 1500 for one of the grid-ins?

Omitted rhombus question, and I did get 1500 for one I think.

yeah, 16pi and 1500 seems familiar.

the answer was 16pi 100% sure

I said open for interpretation. I was also debating between the self determination one :/

I said interpretation too

I omitted the rhombus also and yea I got a 1500 for the grid-in.

The architecture and Cold War passages were the hardest.

I only had 2 writing sections. I had 4 CR’s though…

Can someone explain the plane question? I’m stupid

I fear that the math section I think I did best in was an experimental :</p>
